Located in Saint-Bruno, Quebec Les Promenades Saint-Bruno was completed in 1978.
It is the youngest of the four "Fashion centres" operated by Cadillac Fairview. The largest mall in the Montreal area Les Promenades Saint-Bruno hosts shoppers from Montreal and the nearby cities Saint-Hyacinthe and Sorel-Tracy.
Anchored by a Steinberg's supermarket between 1978 and 1992, and a Miracle Mart/M store adjacent to the Steinberg's supermarket, Les Promenades Saint-Bruno anchors were replaced by Zellers from 1992 to 2012 in the space now occupied by Target.
In 1989, Hudson's Bay Company disbanded Simpsons Department Stores and The Bay took the place of the Simpson store space. A new wing with 50 new boutiques was added in 1991 bringing the size of Les Promenades Saint-Bruno to nearly18.5806 m2.
Les Promenades Saint-Bruno is about to embark on a multi-million dollar redevelopment to create a modern, elevated shopping experience. Completed by 2015, the interior common areas will get a facelift including new finishes and flooring, glass railings, and renovated washrooms. Les Promenades Saint-Bruno’s centre court will be opened up and the elevator modernized. Entranceways, landscaping and signage will all be enhanced. The present food court will be changed into an upscale dining hall with china, enhanced seating space, and new food options.
